Ford Performance Parts hydraulic roller lifters are offered as direct replacements for 302-351W production small block hydraulic roller lifters; and as high performance versions for higher rpm and severe-duty applications. The high performance hydraulic roller tappets were developed specifically for racing conditions and are recommended for performance and racing applications. Both standard and high performance hydraulic roller lifters use the production dog-bone type tie bars and retainer plate components included in M-6253-A50 hydraulic roller lifter installation kits.
